Is SHORTIES free?
Yes. The Free plan makes 5 videos a month up to 30 seconds each, with a small SHORTIES mark. No card is needed.
Do I need an AI key?
No. With no key, SHORTIES uses its built-in script writer, animated motion backgrounds, your own photos, your own voice and built-in music. Adding your own Pollinations or Claude key switches on AI-written scripts, AI images and AI voice.
Does SHORTIES post to my accounts automatically?
No. On a phone, the Share button hands the finished video to TikTok, Instagram or any app you have installed. On a computer, SHORTIES copies your caption and opens the platform's upload page so you can attach the video.
What format is the video?
MP4 where your browser can record it, otherwise WebM. Vertical 9:16, square 1:1 or wide 16:9, at 720p or 1080p.
Where are my videos stored?
In your own browser on your own device. Nothing is uploaded to a SHORTIES server, so download any video you want to keep.
Can I use my own music?
